@ShereeseMayMba Bad design is part of it. I once visited a hospice where all the patient rooms had doors and windows opening to the outside letting in fresh air and sunlight. Why can't we have that in long-term care? #hcldr

T3. It would take a serious culture shift and PR campaign to change the reputation on LTC homes. And this is not to say that all facilities are aweful, but while 1% of Americans reside in them, greater than 25% of COVID deaths came from them. How's that for a bad rep. #hcldr
