GM !😀 Sharing some artwork I did for @NetflixBrasil back in 2018 to promote their 3% series 🌟

THB is a comic series by the legendary artist (and good friend) Paul Pope (@PULPH0PE), also known as Comics Destroyer. 🧡 At the time, he was looking to adapt the comic into an animated series. I offered to help by creating an animated teaser. The jumping scene is still one of my favorite shots I've ever animated. Sadly, the project didn’t move forward, so the animation remained a rough sketch — but it’s still very special to me.

Visual experimentation is one of the most exciting parts of making a project. Finding the right graphic language to match the story and concept ain't easy🎨✨ Daniel Semanas spent around 8 months shaping the ROLY✶POLY look: sketching, tweaking proportions, testing colors..... until it clicked 💫 This illustration is one of the first finished tests. Back then, the lines were bolder, the perspective more exaggerated, and the vibe more cartoonish. What do you think of this early version? 👀
