So proud of my student Zachary Tan who just published as a first author the study of his Honours thesis in the British Journal of Psychology! Thanks also to collaborators @DanielSkorich and @Xizhuo_Zou.

Rather than universally suppressing climate policy support, these findings draw attention to the variability in political orientation - policy support associations. E.g., conservatism might be a more important barrier to climate policy support within high emission societies.

@TaiChimpProject Thanks for this Roman. Given my own experience, I’m not at all surprised he inspired others. I was very sad to hear he had passed away; a great scientist and by all reports a great person. My condolences to you, his family, and everyone else who knew him.

@DanielSkorich Dear Daniel, Christophe was a person that inspired many young scientist with his dedication and passion for chimpanzees. I am glad you kept his letter and are able to show it to your students, to inspire them now. I think, he would have loved that. Best Roman

In a lab meeting today, a student asked everyone how/when they decided to pursue a research career. I told them how I wrote a letter to a Swiss zoologist when I was 13 asking him how to become a wild chimp researcher. He replied to my letter. I found his reply in a box today. 1/2
