Had a really great maths lesson today. A student who usually isn’t confident in maths and would avoid it, got to the point where they were grasping angles and geometry to volunteer to answer questions and engage in activities. It was a really nice win.

27K is a very low salary for a teacher living in England given their cost of living. Better for English teachers to migrate to Australia.

Great way to finish the week at my new home. Stage 1 assembly.

Move to the country…fresh air and open spaces. Didn’t think I would be covering 7km just walking around the school on Day 1. First week has also included bull ants and pressure washing bird poop from play equipment #teacherlife
