I’d like to join a pro-Palestinian movement that acknowledges Israel’s right to exist & that the biggest obstacle to peace is the Palestinian refusal to acknowledge Israel’s right to exist. A movement that calls for coexistence & a way to move forward. Does such a movement exist?

This is vile. @BellMediaPR, through Astral, is running straight-up pro-Israel propaganda at Spadina and Wellington in Toronto. This billboard takes the symbol of a state drenched in blood and repackages it as neighbourliness, belonging, and Canadian pride. That is not accidental. It is doing very specific political work. It conflates Judaism with Israel so that criticism of a violent state can be smeared as hostility to Jews. It launders support for Israel through the language of multicultural respectability and civic belonging. And it turns propaganda into social coercion: we’re your neighbours. stand with us. No. I do not owe solidarity to a genocidal state because its lobby knows how to borrow the language of community. And media companies do not get to hide behind neutrality while selling public space for that message. Despicable. Fuck Israel.

@rosiekristina @LegalishCA @BellMediaPR Jews literally built this country Christian values come from Jewish values. U just have too much hate in ur heart to see that. My family members were murdered by Palestinians but I don’t replay to Palestinians accounts with hate. Because hate makes things worse. Feel bad for u.

@Austin9oh5 @LegalishCA @BellMediaPR Nah. Jews aka Judeans aka Hebrew’s aka Israelis helped build this country. We are proud to stand for peace and we will not be deterred by evil haters who likely spit venom at innocent children as long as “they’re not on my side.” I feel really bad for brainwashed ppl like u

@redfresds @LegalishCA @BellMediaPR You call someone a child killer when u know nothing about them. U could do this to children, u can cause emotional and mental damage and they could be good ppl. U must see the humanity in others and give benefit of the doubt. It’s ur type of behavior that led to trump.

@LegalishCA @DarrenPJohn @BellMediaPR Do u know why ppl come to Canada? It’s to COEXIST IN A PLACE OF TOLERANCE. I am Israeli. I would never tweet about Muslim or Palestinian pride boards in a negative way. I wouldn’t encourage protesting in Muslim areas. I believe we can all be proud of who we are here.

The difference in performance quality is actually insane. You're telling me Justin Bieber is the highest-paid artist at Coachella, and this is what he delivers? Male artists really do get away with anything when it comes to performances — and more. I've seen people dragging Addison Rae for not being ready as a pre-headliner, yet the actual headliner is doing the absolute bare minimum and getting a pass… and some of y’all are always ready to defend these men

The Magic choke in Boston, because of course they do, and in one of the day's unlikeliest scenarios, the Raptors will finish fifth and face the Cavs in the opening round of the playoffs. Game 1 from Cleveland on Saturday or Sunday.

There are 17 countries in the Middle East (including Cyprus and Egypt, despite their ties to the EU and Africa respectively). Exactly two are considered democracies. Cyprus and Israel. In only 5 of them is homosexuality not illegal - Cyprus, Israel, Bahrain, Turkey and Jordan. 5 of these countries have the death penalty as a possible punishment for same sex acts, although only one actively uses it - Iran. Iran allows for marriage as young as 9. Saudi Arabia and Yemen have no fixed minimum. Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon and Libya allow it at 15. Israel is with a group of 5 countries with a minimum age of 18. All 17 have Christians and all 17 have Muslims. Israel has more Muslims than Bahrain and Cyprus. 9 of them have Jews living in them, but 4 of those have less than 100 Jews each. After Israel at 7.4M the next highest is Turkey at 14,000. Israel is the 6th smallest of the 17, yet has the 3rd highest total GDP and the second highest GDP per capita. Israel has won the 4th highest number of Olympic medals, and has the highest number of Nobel prize winners. Combined, the other 16 countries have won 2 more (16) Nobel prizes than Israel has (14). 14 of these countries have moderate to significant distinctions in laws between men and women. Israel has high equality with some differences in marriage and divorce. According to the 2026 World Happiness Report, Israel leads the Middle East as the 8th happiest globally. Next highest is UAE at 22nd. Egypt, Syria, Lebanon and Yemen are numbers 139-142 respectively. And despite all of this, the Free-Palestine movement has managed to convince so many that Israel is an apartheid nation. That Israel is an evil nation. That Israel does norm”have the right to exist” / whatever that means. That Israel should be destroyed. Stop listening to the lies and propaganda. Look at the data. Look at the facts. Discover who’s who. Do some critical thinking. And let’s shut down the real threat, so that the world is safer for everyone.

For all the haters in the replies, making dumb, dishonest or inane comparisons & putting words in my mouth, it is a simple fact that Russia's attack on Ukraine was illegal & the US & Israel's attack on Iran was illegal & so both Ukraine & Iran are the victims.

It's astonishing that you, a world leader who many respected for standing up to an illegal attack on your country, now support an illegal attack on another country. It completely kills your credibility. Right now. Iran is Ukraine. You may not like to hear that but that is a fact
Volodymyr Zelenskyy / Володимир Зеленський@ZelenskyyUa

It is unfortunate that the UN Security Council has once again failed to demonstrate effectiveness and act decisively in the face of such a global threat as the Iranian regime's blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. No one should be allowed to block such globally significant sea lanes or undermine the security of dozens of nations through terrorist attacks against the freedom of navigation. We faced a similar challenge in the Black Sea when the Russians attempted to block our ports and civilian shipping—Russia was trying to suffocate our economy. And we found a way to solve that problem through decisive action, not inaction. Now, we see a similar problem on a global scale. The Strait of Hormuz must remain open to all vessels that sustain vital economy lifelines and maintain normal international trade. Countries in the region have spoken clearly on this, and we support the aspirations of the people of the Middle East and the Gulf for peace. Peace and security in this region directly impact stability, market predictability, and the cost of living in every single country. Such problems and this war must not be prolonged. The world needs a functional UNSC that acts more decisively to resolve acute security challenges of global magnitude.

Let’s be honest. Outside of college dropout, Kanye West aka Ye aka Yitler was NEVER a good rapper. He’s given birth to some of the stupidest lyrics of all time. Poopity scoop anyone? One of the best producers though. I’ll give him that.

What a misleading headline from The Daily Mail. The ATF ran a tool mark analysis on a bullet jacket fragment recovered from Charlie's autopsy. The result was "inconclusive" — not "no match." The jacket was too fragmented to compare, which also partially explains the lack of an exit wound. The bullet shattered on impact. "Inconclusive" means insufficient evidence to draw any conclusion. It doesn't mean the bullet "did NOT match" the rifle like the headline says. The defense wants to use "inconclusive" as exculpatory evidence — but the prosecution wants to run chemical or molecular analysis comparing the jacket alloy to ammunition recovered with the gun. Unlike tool mark analysis, it doesn't require an intact bullet. The defense is trying to block that testing from happening. That's the nuance of the real story.

Canada joins its partners in expressing concern about the death penalty law passed by the Israeli Knesset that, in practice, systematically targets Palestinians. This discriminatory law adds to a growing list of actions which enables illegal settler violence while dehumanizing the Palestinian people. Canada unequivocally opposes its application. We reaffirm our commitment to human rights and the global movement to abolish the death penalty.
