Spoiler alert‼️ We find that generalist tropical tree species🌳 may be able occupy a broader range of environments through their capacity to change coordination in physiological traits 🌿across environments - rather than having greater intra-specific variation in single traits.

Our new paper led by the brilliant @MarionBoisseaux is out in @FunEcology ! We look at patterns of physiological trait variation 🌿🍃and covariation in tropical tree species🌳 ... ...along a gradient of topographic wetness and habitat specialists vs. generalists.
