My intuition is that there is something morally virtuous about (b)... but I am much more familiar with epistemic virtues (any reading recommendations are also very welcome).

Question for philosophers: I'm looking at humility as an epistemic virtue comprising these features: a) an awareness of one’s own intellectual fallibility. b) respects the epistemic agency and capacity of others. In your view, is there anything morally virtuous about these?

Sometimes I use the dictation feature on Microsoft word if I want to think through an idea out loud and then edit the text later. You've got to be careful though, as instead of 'virtue epistemology', it seemed to think I said 'Virtual Pista Mala G' #philosophy #phdchat
