Referee awarded a penalty. VAR told him to look at the incident on the monitor. Monitor wasn’t working. Referee charged his decision? After not watching it again? Seeing nothing that could change his mind?

Fair play to @alanshearer for calling out Pickford’s long passes wasting possession. As an Everton fan, I’ve been saying this for years. Like him as a keeper but drives me mad how everyone celebrates his passing when it inevitably hands possession over to the opposition.

I actually like Dyche. But this result is enough for me now. Combined with lacklustre and tactically bland games, I think I’d like to see him go. Not sure how. Not sure who. Not sure I care how I used to. But this is not even torture. 6-0 and I kind of just feel a little bit sad.

When a player is sent off, the team reduced to 10 men shouldn’t be able to make changes in that break. They lost a player due to foul play. They should have to wait until the next break to reshuffle. The advantage is lessened if the offending team have the chance to restructure.
