So remember how artists told you that AI companies were inserting themselves as middlemen to extract profit from the entertainment industry?
Almost the entire budget right into the pocket of an AI company. Not the workers, not the people whose work they stole, to one AI company.

I'm tired of endless obsession with "subtlety" when it comes to artistic messaging. In the face of blatant vice signaling, the Twitter intelligentsia constantly defangs itself by obsessing with how "high brow" it feels to consume it. Sometimes it's "fuck you" and that's fine.

@camseyeview Yeah I feel the same way, although I think I'm approaching a place where I'm willing to give up one of the other media-giant subscriptions to pay for something more creator-owned.

@DannyAraya Yeah I just don't want to pay for another streaming service. Like I understand they have to keep them on there for legal reasons, but it sucks when you need to listen to something while writing or editing stuff lol.

Some more FX shots I got to work on for @AvantrisLegends NEON ODYSSEY, with some over the shoulder tutelage by @DoigSwift , I think they turned out great! The black hole sphere was reused from @noitibmar 's animations.

This came out in the 90’s with no 3D and still looks better than the 2022 version. Animators back then were really different.
