I don't see a problem with a journalist looking at the questions suggested by an LLM.

@dannyoneil Not only this, but it devalues journalists. If relying on an LLM to create questions, why can't anyone do that job? I'm speaking generally, not about the individual at the center of this. What's the point of training, working, and growing if you're going to rely on an LLM?

@dannyoneil There's a massive different between being inspired by another journalist's questions and relying on generative AI. I have no clue who the people in this story are, I have no agenda other than the fact that journalists should absolutely not being using LLMs in their work.

Is "physically capable" the right phrasing here?
Wouldn't the capability in question be mental as opposed to physical?
If I can type "incel" I am physically capable of typing "braindead" or "worm-brained." I chose not to.

@glman99 I guess I don't see any real ethical concern about a reporting looking at what questions an LLM would suggest.
I've taken note of good questions or framing that other reporters have used and used it to inform my interviews. Does that mean I was plagiarizing?

I've known Angie since she played softball for UW in the '90s, but I'm really angry seeing her get dragged nationally because some troll took a video and waited until a particularly devastating loss to post it.
