Okay time to dilute a bit of my edge and what i'm doing as a Polymarket user. My aim in @Polymarket is to; a) find inefficiencies or take +ev bets b) increase my metrics in what I consider Polymarket may value; ➖volume ➖pnl (both metrics on leaderboard) ➖social presence ➖being on the top holder count at resolution (unlikely this means anything but could be valued) ➖rewards from being a market maker Quite a lot of people are still reluctant on using Polymarket, which should be a good thing, if it were easy there would be less edge. If you find any of this helpful feel free to like or ask questions. Let's break through some strategies; 🧵

Countless pundits/ex players stated that Messi deserved it and winner of the golden ball didn't have to come from the winning team. Still can't wrap my head around the decision. Rodri was class against France, Portugal and Argentina but Messi was exceptionally good throughout the whole thing

This is where it all went wrong.❌ As both Rodri and Yamal didn't deserve it to begin with + they didn't have a fantastic individual game, I figured Messi was a lock. I started buying more and more Messi shares, until I ended up with about $15k in losses on this market. Somehow before the ceremony started, Messi started buying and someone was putting up 50k share walls. I had a feeling that someone already knew the outcome and was trying to get fills. Unfortunately Rodri won it, and I lost my full bet. I really didn't think this would happen. We move📈

In my opinion, the “Trump be in the WC Champions Photo” market is significantly overpriced. The rules are quite strict, especially after the recent clarification explicitly stated that Trump must literally be with the World Cup - winning team during the trophy lift - essentially in the team’s official celebration photo. For YES to resolve, we’d need a situation similar to what happened with Chelsea, where Trump stepped into the team’s celebration and ended up in the trophy-lift photo. With that in mind, taking a NO position is certainly not a mistake.

After yesterday there is no doubt in my mind. I should've taken this bet at 50c before the Argentina game but I was titled because I thought Bellingham had a good tournament. Current 2nd favourite is Cubarsi and then Rodri, both nowhere near the levels of which Messi has hit this World Cup, the GOAT

Trading update on WC mention markets Took only one position for yesterday’s France vs Spain match. Data showed that "Block / Blocks / Blocked" wasn’t the type of phrase announcers repeat 15+ times.
