If you're under $2-3 million in revenue and spending more than $5,000 a month on your e-commerce team, you're lighting money on fire.
Here's what you actually need:
(And no, none of this includes offshore talent that have there rates marked up 3-4x)
1. Paid Social Expert ($2K/mo)
This person should not only be media buying, but also managing the performance creative process and landing page buildouts.
They should own the full paid social funnel.
2. CRM / Retention Marketer ($1.5K/mo)
All things Email / SMS and Retention Marketing including strategy, copywriting, execution, and analytics.
3. Paid Search Marketer ($750/mo)
It doesn't cost a lot to run PMAX or Shopping campaigns (maybe with some Branded search mixed in). Your setup costs might be a bit higher, but you really shouldn't be paying very much more than this to run Google ads on an ongoing basis.
4. Graphic Designer ($750/mo)
This person should design your email templates, static ads, and any ad hoc needs for landing pages and/or website.

You CAN be scrappy, hire the best, and get great results all at the same time.
Stop lighting money on fire and hire your team in a lean, scrappy way.

@WillAllred117 Drives me kinda nuts when people make it sound like they invented something that they clearly did not. Am I just a grump?

Always run small tests for new growth levers.
But, if they don't drive that 10x?
Bail & test something new.
PS. This isn't an original idea. I got it from a book called Traction. The author's probably got it from somewhere else.

Our second? PLG
Our new lever? Outbound
Our next lever? TBD (but testing a few things)
