Genuine question for those who rip.... Aren't these sealed cases supposed to have 2 of each promo? Every opening I have seen of one has been 2 Kanto, 2 Sinnoh, and 2 Alola sets.

@Xenoes1 @MarionCero91656 @PokeHEX5555 @hazza1k I have no issues with anyone disagreeing and if it’s combative, so be it. I can learn from everyone, regardless of how they approach a disagreement. But I do appreciate the way you handled it and it genuinely does help me with perspective.

@hazza1k @Danny__O @MarionCero91656 I think you're failing to understand that when people use verbiage that says something WILL help you, people take that as thats what you're saying. You can give examples on how it will and I can do the opposite.

@Xenoes1 @hazza1k @MarionCero91656 I guess that’s where we disagree then. I know tons of collectors who sell on tcgplayer and trade playables in to league to help grow their collection. It’s not about the monetary, just about getting rid of cards that aren’t important to them to help find the cards they desire.

@Danny__O @hazza1k @MarionCero91656 And that has no bearing on my collecting. Now if you're speaking from a business standpoint, sure. But when I think of collecting, for this and other TCGs, its not for $. Its about collecting what and how you like. If you're doing it purely for monetary gain, you're no collector.

@Xenoes1 @hazza1k @MarionCero91656 But knowing which cards are competitive would help you focus on those for your inventory, specifically if the margins are lucrative from a % standpoint. So if you are buying bulk then you know which cards provide higher margins because of playability?

@Danny__O @hazza1k @MarionCero91656 my Pokémon cards that aren't in a binder for PC, are listed. I don't have PC bulk. And any funds I get from selling goes right back into buying bulk to increase inventory. All I do is adjust prices. How the tcg is played and its shifting meta doesn't impact what or how I collect

@Xenoes1 @hazza1k @MarionCero91656 But you mentioned adjusting prices of cards. Does that mean selling on tcgplayer or eBay? Removing competitive cards from bulk like counter catchers, Hilda, arvens, etc and listing them helps you by obtaining more funds to buy cards you are collecting doesn’t it?

@Xenoes1 @hazza1k @MarionCero91656 Knowing what cards to trade in to local league can help you get more bang for your bulk and hopefully help you with your goals. Knowing stories behind cards could give you a certain appreciation. That’s really all I was trying to imply. But you should do what makes you happy

All I was saying was that having an understanding of the competitive game will help you achieve goals. I worded poorly by saying “severe” and people thought that implied a certain way to collect

Friendly reminder that Ascended Heroes is a staggered release with the lowest Pack Products releasing first. It’s also a Waved Release which means each product release will have more than one run. Be patient and don’t fomo. The set looks awesome, but be careful.
