If I talk about what my eyes have seen with this Outlier stuff eeh. It took me more than one month to convince a friend of mine to open an Outlier account for me, out of about 10 people I reached out to who are based abroad. After I passed the first stage of the skill verification and everything, I collected the login details from my friend. I then reached out to many people to ask how to complete the onboarding process without getting the account banned. Many ignored me, a few replied, while some even confused me more. The one that shocked me the most was someone I used to attend spaces with, and we were even in the same WhatsApp group. The space owner told me to reach out to him. When I did, his condition was this: I should bring the account so we can complete the onboarding together and split it 50:50. Or, if I want to run it myself, I must be sending him 30% every payday for as long as the account or this Outlier thing lasts. Omo, I was really shocked at first. Before meeting him, I had already spoken to another guy here that I used to vibe with, and he was asking for 60% if he was the one to run the account. To cut the long story short, I lost the account a few days ago, even though I used the recommended RDP they asked me to use. It was even a female mutual here on X that tried to help me despite her tight schedule. It is really painful how many people are holding tight to this Outlier onboarding process and how some have turned it into a business. But for those two guys, I was honestly shocked and surprised bro. Now, one of them is not even replying to me again after I told him I lost the account. This post is a bit misleading, getting into Outlier from geo-restricted areas like Nigeria here takes more than just a proxy, there are other requirements, It is doable and very achievable, but there’s more to it than what’s been laid out here. Your best shot in getting into any of these remote platforms is having/linking up with someone in an unrestricted region, they create and verify the account for you and you handle the tasks remotely through their PC with a remote desktop access.
