We wanted to give a quick update on our @PlayApex anti-cheat efforts since blocking access from Linux. In this chart, we're displaying the infection rate, or the rate of matches that had a cheater present. While several variables can impact this, we can see a noticeable drop in the infection rate of Battle Royale matches when we blocked access to Linux. We also launched Season 23 with additional defensive measures that helped to contribute to this drop-off. As the new season has progressed, we did see a bit of a rise in the infection rate and while security risks are always evolving, we're committed to adapting and improving our anti-cheat efforts to combat these threats. Heads up, legends: we just pushed an update to @PlayApex to adjust Mozambiques: -Single & Akimbo Mozambique have had their rate of fire reduced at base and all bolt rarities -Magazine Size for a single is reduced to 5 (was 6) -Magazine Size for Akimbo reduced to 10 (was 12) -Blast pattern scale increased -When using Akimbo Mozambiques, the projectile size is now reduced (normalized to other shotguns) Try out the changes and let us know what you think!

@GenericEdBoi I wonder if any of this matters when the only nerf they will do to the havoc is a damn hipfire nerf from the season 22 gameplay I've seen so far, I pray to God I'm wrong though or we'll be in another havoc meta for another 1.5 months

What will your go to loadout for Season 22 be?? I’m thinking mozam spitty might be my bread and butter tbh. If not that then maybe p20 sentinel? Yes.. those sound crazy, but I think they’re gonna be mega viable.
