@H2cents Update: house still not clean. Wife still riding high of the potential cleaning though (also just poured her a drink). Counting that as a win❤️

3.6 hours of sleep. The hubby gently brings the baby for a kiss to wake me after his 6:30-7:30 shift. I hobble to shower as fast as I can. Returning partially to life, I hear him say, “hun, after work, I’ll clean the whole house.” Coffee on. Sun’s out. #TGIF #luckywife

#Patriotism. Good or bad? Its another way we draw cultural lines between groups of humans, and it leads to a lot of blind/non-thoughtful allegiances… so I’m not a fan. Thoughts?

So, I need to continually remind myself that when things are changing at pace, I need to be repetitive and perhaps even take a media approach to consistent repeatable messaging… otherwise I’ll be waiting forever for people to grasp my ideas and I won’t be able to make progress.

I have a close circle of peers that do get concepts the first time, and understand program changes immediately, and I think this group of superstars has given me a false sense of how the majority of folx will take my messages.

I should know this from change management theories, but I’m continually surprised how many times I (or others) need to say something before it sticks for colleagues or clients.

On Sept 30 #AGGV will be open 12-5pm for a free Public Open House on the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation. A facilitator will be on site 1-4pm to engage with visitors & further resources will be shared on our social media on Sept 30th.

Greens: It is our urgent responsibility to listen, learn, & do the work to make our party (& Canadian politics as a whole) a more equitable, inclusive space for all. I encourage all those ready to take up the baton to join these crucial conversations in the coming weeks.
