🚨ICE agents are being allowed to violate the constitution… and now, we’re seeing even more of that same energy with police. In North Riverside, Illinois, an off-duty police lieutenant pulled a gun on a teenager, dragged her out of her car, and arrested her… without identifying himself… all while he was outside his jurisdiction. She thought she was being kidnapped… because a man cut her off, jumped out with a gun, and started screaming orders. He claimed it was a hit-and-run. It wasn’t... And when local officers showed up, they cleared her and let her go. So, what actually happened… An off-duty cop, from another town, with no clear authority to act there, pulled a gun on a teenager and detained her over something that didn’t happen. That’s a Fourth Amendment violation… no reasonable suspicion, no probable cause, just force. And pointing a gun is a serious use of force that requires clear justification. Without it, the entire stop becomes unconstitutional. Then, there’s the jurisdiction issue… police power isn’t unlimited. Outside his department’s area, his authority is extremely limited, often no more than a private citizen, unless there’s an actual crime happening in front of him. There wasn’t. And he never even identified himself… which is how you end up with a teenager thinking she’s being abducted instead of lawfully detained. And to be clear… racial profiling isn’t new. Police have been doing this for decades. But, when the federal government starts pushing the boundaries of the Constitution, it sets the tone. ICE has already been “expanding its authority”, with broader arrests, aggressive street stops, and even entering homes without a judicial warrant… That mindset spreads. So now, it’s not just profiling… it’s profiling with more power, more aggression, and less accountability.

🚨BREAKING: ICE agents in New York illegally surrounded two cars and demanded the people inside prove their citizenship. Community members showed up and immediately started asking the questions ICE never wants asked on camera: “Do you have a warrant?” The agents claimed they did. But when people asked to actually SEE the warrant… they refused. Because they didn’t have one. That’s the constitutional violation right there. In the United States, federal agents cannot legally detain people, block their vehicles in, and demand proof of citizenship without lawful justification. The Fourth Amendment protects people from unreasonable searches and seizures. You don’t lose those rights because ICE decides to profile you. And unless agents have a judicial warrant signed by a judge, or actual legal probable cause tied to a crime, they cannot just trap people in their cars fishing for immigration status. ICE keeps counting on intimidation instead of law. They surround cars with multiple agents, act aggressive, throw around words like “warrant,” and hope people are too scared to question them. But the second community members demanded proof, the whole thing fell apart. Both cars were eventually released… because ICE never had the legal right to stop them in the first place. This is exactly why people recording matters. This is exactly why communities showing up matters. And this is exactly why constitutional rights matter… especially when federal agents are acting like they don’t apply to them anymore.
