I remember one day I went to visit my Man, only to find him with another woman 😭💔 I was so shocked I started screaming, and he looked at me calm like “why are you making noise?” I asked him, “who is this woman?” and he was like “which woman?” I was like “stop making me a fool, can’t you see there’s a woman next to you?!” and this man had the audacity to sit me down, gave me water, and said “babe are you okay? I think I need to call your mom because your spiritual things are starting again, you’re seeing things” 😭 at that moment I didn’t know if I was really seeing things or if he was playing me, meanwhile the woman was quietly busy putting on her clothes like she doesn’t exist 😭 . I kept insisting “ there’s someone here!” and this guy went to fetch candles and said we need to pray about this whole thing 🤣 and me being me, I went along, we prayed, said amen… and just like that, the woman was nowhere to be seen 😭 he looked at me and asked “are you still seeing someone?” and I said no, and he said “you see… God and ancestors do hear” I asked him to take me home I have been single since that day, I want nothing to do with the other gender 😩😭.

Nothing is beating the day I went to the gym to do a deadlift. I was pumped, gym was packed, plenty people around, I just wanted to show strength and carry heavy. I stepped up, got into position, and went for my first lift… Next thing, my body betrayed me 💔 Involuntarily, I pooped. Yeah… right there. That was the last day I ever stepped into that area… not to talk of the gym itself 😭

This is the same issue I have with Ola of Lagos when he’s advertising cars. When you’re trying to sell something luxurious, the selling point in luxury is not the price, but the idea behind the item, the story, the craftsmanship, the years it took to master the craft, and the history. Just making a shoe and calling it 25M one-of-one doesn’t make it luxury. Talking about the type of leather used, the type of thread, the sole, the durability, how it’s constructed, the finishing, and the presentation, now that’s what can be considered luxury. And nope, all those still won’t justify a 25M price tag, but it’ll be close. Another important part is how you market and where you market to. There’s a reason Rolls-Royce and Bugatti do 90% of their marketing at private jet sales events and not on Twitter or billboards. No one is asking you not to sell luxury, but I’m not sending a DM on WhatsApp to buy a 25M shoe.
