We applied LEPY to moth datasets (Sphingidae & Saturniidae) along an elevational gradient in the Peruvian Andes. The results show taxon-specific changes in morphology and colour traits with elevation. #Macroecology #Andes

The pipeline measures several traits including: 📏 body length 🪽 forewing length 📐 specimen area and colour traits such as: 🎨 hue, saturation, brightness 🌈 UV reflectance 📊 colour diversity (Shannon index)
