@MaldosWife @Ann_Hedonia1 Well, the kittens need to understand that Jem is in charge and they can't commit crimes. (According to what he posts on IG, Jem thinks he's a general and has an army so it's only natural he's in charge.) The kittens are criminals. But yes, conversations must be had.

@ianzepp @RizomaSchool Yep. I have spent hundreds of dollars and harvested 2 tiny tomatoes. (And yet, I do it every year.)

@thomas_garrard We started Solensia on our cat. It made a big difference. See if your vet will allow you to administer the injection at home. We obviously still have to pay for the shot itself, but not an office visit each month.

What has been weighing heavy on me, is my girl Sadie Maye. She’s 10. I’ve had her since she was 6 weeks old. For the first 8 years, she was my shadow. The last 2 years, arthritis has slowed her down, and she sort of adopted my mom, for the slower life. She had a rough weekend, this past weekend, which is why I cancelled plans to stay home. I thought I was taking her to the vet this morning for the “it’s time” talk. The vet said absolutely not. She improved a lot last night and this morning. We are starting her on a once a month shot. It will cost me money, but she showed me that she’s willing to fight, so I’m willing to fight for her. That’s all I can do. But that’s why I’ve been down this weekend.

@SlenderSherbet So far we have redone 3 of our bathrooms to put in glass surrounds because our cat can open doors and commits dietary indiscretions like eating plastic shower curtains. Vets are expensive.

"You probably can't even tell but there was an incident involving the shower curtain"

@pvt_ak I absolutely hate it when that happens. So, I'll make another trip to the store a couple of days later to prove I have impulse control and will only buy what I went for, and POW! I fail again. I'm a failure. (A very happy failure!)

@latkedelrey The big guy is Jem. (24.5 lbs.) The little black and white girl is named Boo and is 12 lbs. We have an 8 lb noodle cat named Raven who is not pictured. (She was elsewhere committing crimes. )

sometimes i forget that my cats are big compared to other cats and then i think everyone else’s cat is small. but no…. my cats are just giants for some reason
