Special elections are quirky and not necessarily projectable re: a general election. That said, a swing of this magnitude is not something that can be dismissed. Republicans should be clear-eyed about the political environment heading into the midterms.

My issue is that @UF is damaging their long term alumni base by screwing generational family ties to the institution which will have negative long term effects IMO.

You are right, they were not killed by law enforcement. They were however killed while NOT breaking the law. Something that you can’t say about the other people they choose to talk about. Honestly the democrats always seem to side with and wring their hands about people that could have avoided any issue if they just obeyed the law.

Some people will miss this but the point you are trying to make by mentioning Kirk and Zarutska is disingenuous. It’s pure shock value and not a true comparison primarily because of the position of the perpetrator. This is not to say that Kerr or Rivers should or shouldn’t mention them, but they were not killed (as far as we know) by law enforcement. That’s the issue of debate.

Feelings over facts! Virtue signaling at its finest! Steve Kerr has made a habit of this. As has Doc Rivers, who is saying the same thing as Kerr about the MN incident. Fascinating that both coaches were SILENT when Iryna Zarutska and Charlie Kirk were murdered. Shocker.

So who is telling the truth? If your child or brother was in the spot the agent was, would you testify that she rammed or tried to run them over? I bet you would.
