@CodyLeachYT I have my concerns but I am hoping for its success. My concern is tho if its successful is Cregger going to stick around for a sequel seeing how in demand he is right now. If so are we doomed to only have new original characters/set pieces and nothing from the games for sequels?

“I assume everything based on a 2min teaser & hope we have yet another video game movie flop to make me feel special.” I won’t know how good the movie is til I see it but anyone hoping for failure deserves shit like RE: The Final Chapter. The only one “larping” as a fan is YOU!

@CodyLeachYT Honestly the trailer didnt excite me. Not because i need characters or game set pieces from the game but the trailer wasnt giving me resident evil vibes. BUT honestly Cregger being such a RE game fan gives me hope he is saving BIG OMG & RE lore for shock moments in the movie

If this movie is terrible, I’ll be the loudest voice of disappointment. That said, I don’t know how you could listen to this guy describe what he loves from the games and what he’s trying to translate to his movie and not be incredibly optimistic.

@RandyIsbelle @DAKKADAKKA1 Yes, let it cook & I will be seeing it day one. And RE7 is in my top 3 of the franchise but the difference is from the jump RE7 is a RE game. We knew before we even turned the game on it would eventually tie into the franchise. Cregger has said plenty he is doing his own thing.

@kasselvania @x0Starlight You presume to much! RE7 is in my favorite 3 of the series and recently I MUCH MORE enjoyed Grace’s portion of requiem than Leon’s. This trailer feels nothing like resident evil. More like some random zombie movie. Not a single thing in that trailer had a bit of RE’s lore or vibe

@DiscussingFilm I’m not saying this didn’t feel like resident evil a little but felt more like a high end zombie movie using the RE IP. Which I don’t love. If you wanna add a new character to the franchise, OK! But I can’t even tell if this happened in the RE time line. That I don’t like at all!

@GraveyardDogs81 @Y2J0hn Can’t say never because who knows what the future will bring but I will say seeing how Hogan was from a era that built the foundation for today’s wrestlers I tend to agree Oba would have a hard time leaving such big as a mark. To be fair I am not a huge fan of Oba’s either.

@bennyjohnson And what do are the maps looking like in the south? In Massachusetts the literal map was put together by a Republican. No republicans are spread out so much in MA no one spot has a GOP majority. Republicans gerrymandered the hell out of the southern states.
