Avoid the forest, ignore the light. Lest you disappear completely out of sight by night.

Shared intimacy and warmth, comfort that she was so vulnerable to and so needy for. Unwilling to speak, Gozen offered a happy chime, the warrior burying her face into her Fuku-chan. Yet still she maintained the gentle stroking, fingers eager to explore, to wander, to touch.

The Witch was so soft, so warm, it immediately eased the warrior, melting her apprehensions. Her attention was repaid with touch, a hand diving into strands of hair, Gozen indulging in Bea's presence without hesitation. "Nnn...", she hummed delighted. "Could get used to this.~"

A surprised yelp escaped the swordswoman, her hand instinctively steadying her sheathes so they wouldn't drop as she lost her footing. "Bea!", she gasped, an arm wrapping around her neck to steady herself, her heart racing from the sudden lift. "So possessive-"

She's feeling criminally under-carried. It's been entirely too long since someone last picked her up. This cannot stand. Yet... she had her reputation to consider. Ugh. Life was so unfair.

"It is not any fault of mine that Mayflies enjoy perishing with such haste..." Exchanging cup with pen, she gave a final huff to vent her bruised ego. Instead, she rested her chin on the palm of her hand, mustering Bea in thought. "Say, Lady Bea, how old are you?"

An amused chuckle, her endless lifespan something she had taken for granted before she had encountered those less fortunate. "Is that what you had in mind to learn?"

โ "Your turn. I have yet more questions, but let us indulge your curiosity for the moment; lest you lose yourself to your sorrows." โ

โ "Most certainly it is dangerous, I had lost my way and did not realize before you appeared..." A pause, the Elf taking another sip of tea. "Does that mean you were not born here? With how familiar you are with the forest, one might believe you were made for such purpose." โ
