the whole world is in a long distance relationship with itself right now

the void whispers but sometimes it screams

love is around the corner but loss is across the street

I’m the universe’s ashtray

limitless malcontent

hurt me until you love me

we are all sensitive creatures in a life so intense

on my dying breath, I won’t call for my wife, I’ll call for you

happy birthday to me and cheers to the merciless passage of time

I’ll have you know that I’m only slightly manic

one of these days I’ll figure me out

I’m only lightly manic depressive

maybe I’ll do something right in my next life

in another life, I would have loved just doing laundry and taxes with you

my chest is a shallow grave

i wish my narrative wasn’t so tragic

my toxic trait is that I think I can exist effortlessly

being an artist means having homework every day for the rest of your life
