it’s possible for UX to be *too* fast/perfect
just now I noticed that on the Amazon website, if you switch to the next page, it’ll just send you right back to the top and seemingly preload all the images, so they’re all loaded right away
this SHOULD be good, but in practice, I actually do a double-take and have to check whether it really navigated to the right page or not because I expect all the images to load in after navigating to another page and them all being there immediately makes me think that it didn’t navigate properly and I’m still on the same page
a small fade-in animation or something would resolve this
