@anivizz @KeresCrawford @Wuthering_Waves I was too lazy to continue, especially with X's character limit, but with this post here as a basis for what I also think: reddit.com/r/WutheringWav… The "troubles" as I called them are mostly Rover not remembering key information, that spiral out of control.

How do you know this is causing more troubles than what he attempted in the past? The game has not told us anything related to this yet

@anivizz @KeresCrawford @Wuthering_Waves someone who abandoned everything has no right to lecture her who never gave up. Of course we don't know the exact reason for the memory wipe, but for now it caused more troubles than it helped.

@anivizz @KeresCrawford @Wuthering_Waves We don't know Rovers past anyway so let's ignore it for now. So far in the story we played everything that happened was in Rovers favor someway or another. As for the hypocrisy, Phrolova said enough in that last scene, ...

@KeresCrawford @Wuthering_Waves No? Why would the story be over if Phrolova succeeds in her research? It would only cement that Rover was wrong and it was possible to do, despite the sacrifices. Phrolova is out of the picture anyway now that Fractsidus abandoned her and got away with the gem.

@Dark_Supway @Wuthering_Waves maybe they will go all the way. rover's past is the overarching mystery. this was simply a glimpse into showing how rover's decision to wipe their memories (even IF it was for the greater good) wasn't flawless. if we let the sympathetic villain win now then the story is just over

@KeresCrawford @Wuthering_Waves and not sweep it under a rock. Btw we still don't know what kind of person past Rover was and I wouldn't be surprised if Fractsidus is one of their failed attempts (controlling lament instead of defeating). If they want to continue making Rover a hypocrite then go all the way.

@KeresCrawford @Wuthering_Waves And I'm saying it doesn't matter how many "good" things Rover did, because in this instance they have no right to judge. Being ignorant isn't an excuse and maybe it humanizes them somewhat but I find it not relatable at all. I want Rover to acknowledge they are not always correct

@KeresCrawford @Wuthering_Waves Yes, why not? I'm sick of stories where everything goes the way the MCs want. There are too few stories where villains reach their goals. I would really like to see her succeeding on a mountain of corpses rather than it failing because it is against MCs hypocritical moral code.

@Dark_Supway @Wuthering_Waves so you want the villain to win because the mc once broke a promise? despite the fact that said villain was never going to stop hurting people to get what she wanted? all the benevolent things rover has done were negated by a single failure in the past?

@S3DOxYT @Wuthering_Waves This may be a difference in interpretation. I see no way she could have survived that impact. She died but reconstructed herself automatically / her forte reconstructed her body, gathered her reverberations and merged them again. All the while she absorbed the others in her eye.

@Dark_Supway @Wuthering_Waves she is half human/TD but, she was human and alive when she merged, for them they are dead nothing but reverberation, and she trying to merge the two.
