@ConceptScouting As a player who can play across the forward line… surely wolves should be monitoring his performances..… and if/when Strand Larsen goes… the monies should be used to purchase 2 players to strengthen the Forward line.

Sindre Walle Egeli is becoming inevitable.
A move has to be made in the next 12 months, extraordinary talent.
FC Nordsjælland 🐯@FCNordsjaelland
Sindre Walle Egeli bragte os foran efter blot fire minutters spil, og det har også været halvlegens eneste scoring ❤️💛 #sldk #FCNVFF

@MikeMur15557657 @GesLakin Purchase players. And of course, the way they have sold their other assets i.e. hotels the women’s team to Sister companies which are linked to the main company to pump more money into the squad…

Ft City
Wonderful tributes to Diogo. Wolves did him proud today.
As far as the football goes- routine victory for City, and about as easy as an away win comes in this league.
Clearly we had a plan, but it was one VP had to conjure up purely due to our lack of quality and depth.
Looked a team set up for damage limitation from the off. We were never going to have enough to compete.
Even though we packed out midfield, and even though midfield is probably our strongest area, Reijnders still tore us to shreds. Different level.
Quadruple substitution had us looking a little sharper up front and there were some nice moments for Arias and Fer Lopez, but overall we just looked sloppy, disorganised and messy across the park- even in the press. Unlike a VP side.
Don't think there's a major issue with effort or application, we are just severely lacking quality and cohesion (and I think we are a bit naive).
Difficult to judge with it being City but I'm not sure this current crop truly believe in themselves. Tough ask for VP changing that.
On the full backs: left side, I'm not sure Wolfe is any better than Hugo Bueno; right side, Hoever didn't stand out as particularly bad and Rodrigo Gomes just isn't a wingback for me- missing too many key facets to fulfil that role effectively in PL.
The quality in these areas last season was so high, and many probably took that for granted. Vital positions in VP's system and will probably stick out like a saw thumb all year. Centre backs shakey as ever won't help but essentially there's nowhere to hide anymore.
Strand Larsen on scraps but looked sharp in and around the box, give him the service and he'll score goals.
For most, it was the start we expected, and one that may unearth a few heads from the sand.
On the bright side lesser challenges lie ahead, but we need points on the board quickly because I wouldn't like to see this groups' confidence shattered - looks fragile already.

@MikeMur15557657 @GesLakin Morning Mike, sorry to hear you are not feeling great, get well soon. PSR is a bit of a minefield if you look at (chelsea) and the way they put their players on long contracts with lower than normal wages, but based on incentives and negotiated long payment terms when they 1/2
English

@DglezWWFC @WWFC_Bren Agreed… but if you invested in the squad… and maintain a strong system… the team would be in a better place.
English

@MikeMur15557657 @GesLakin Basically we can spend substantial
Amounts on players if the owners choose too…!
English

@MikeMur15557657 @GesLakin Wolves banked £65.3m in player profits last summer, primarily on the sales of Maximilian Kilman and Pedro Neto. The sale of Matheus Cunha to Manchester United has taken that number even higher, putting wolves in a very good place when it comes to PSR.
English

@MikeMur15557657 @GesLakin Wolves decided to shift the end of their accounting year from the end of May to the end of June back in February. That move likely saved them from a PSR breach having made a loss of £73.3m over the past two years.
English

@Spencer17240 @GesLakin Time will tell… let’s see after 10 games… and let’s hope fosun buy a few players who show passion, character and ability.
English

@Spencer17240 @GesLakin And wolves… are not clueless… lacking quality… lacking investment… are we not average at best?
English

@GesLakin I agree… Sunderland have invested… and we are lacking in depth and quality…
English

@molineuxmusings With the lack of investment in the squad and not replacing quality with quality what do we expect? I was hoping for the owners to invest in the team at the start of the Transfer window… but sadly our owners are hoping for 3 promoted teams to be relegated… FUCK YOU FOSUN!!

@MrRyanLeister Spot on… Jeff and fosun are focused on other ventures… when the focus should be and only be football… this is why fosun should sell… if not another year of scraping the bottom of the barrel. Please prove me wrong fosun.

#wwfc | You can be both grateful and critical - they don’t have to sit separately
As ever, the Fosun and Jeff debate is a hot topic across social media on Wolves pages.
I’m quite sure that 99% of fans are grateful for what has been achieved in the last 9 years, however, past success doesn’t buy you immunity from criticism.
For me it’s not about investing relentless amounts cash, it’s about how the club is run & the decisions being made.
I don’t really get the vibe of a plan or structure, but more a feel of being reactive and not proactive.
The promotion, the FA Cup run and European journey will live long in the memory & I certainly don’t expect those levels each season, but for the past few years standards have dramatically dropped & fans have every right to raise concerns.
Are Fosun and Jeff serious about the football side of Wolves or are the business ventures the badge is being used for the main focus now?

@angela_royle @NathanJudah Have you not read the social media posts, which cunha has posted? I think it’s pretty clear cunha is being advised wrongly or he’s an idiot… I think it would be best for cunha not to be in squad tomorrow. His involvement might lead to a bad atmosphere in the team and the ground.
English

@DarkeJim @NathanJudah Is it the truth though? Until Cunha is properly interviewed we won’t know! That was my whole point!
If he comes on from the bench & scores tomorrow are you going to sing DooWahDiddy! ? I am! 🐺
English

Matheus Cunha will make his Wolves return tomorrow (from the bench) following his four-game suspension
But today he's made his own impact...on social media

@NathanJudah @angela_royle May I suggest you let Nathan do his job… you might not like what is written, but sadly it’s the truth… it’s not made up, or gossip. It’s just sad that Cunha is turning out to be a bit of TWAT, that’s being polite!!
