Something nobody told me when I was cycling through psych wards at 21: Olanzapine, one of the most commonly prescribed antipsychotics, directly impairs metabolic function. It causes weight gain not because patients eat more but because the drug itself damages the way the body creates and uses energy. People with serious mental illness die on average 10 to 15 years earlier than the general population. A significant portion of that gap is the medication. I've been on olanzapine for years. I was gaining weight and couldn't figure out why. When I went ketogenic, the weight came off. My metabolic markers normalized. I am almost off the medication entirely. The drug that was supposed to be treating me was making me metabolically sick. The diet that was supposed to be extreme was healing me.

I had the pleasure of interviewing Dr Paul Byrne. An amazing man who is in his 80s unspent his life campaigning to stop this. You cannot take an organ from a cadaver, from a dead body. The best organ donors are under 30 with a beating heart and ideally on ventilator. If you are in the United Kingdom, you are automatically an organ donor unless you opt out. You can even have your decision overturned if your family in Love ones are approached in the hospital by the SNOD nurse!! You may even think that your loved one is being saved and receiving life-saving treatment when in fact they are being prepped for their organs. Jeremy Hunt in 2017 said that he would be using the air ambulances to scout for organs, yes folk he used that exact word. Opt out now and tell everybody. May I suggest a tag stating never for organ donor. . @iky_fwjett I had terrible nausea as well. I was able to tolerate tofu in a fruit smoothie once or twice a day. At least once a week I went for a McDonald’s cheeseburger 😉

i’m pregnant and i can barley eat and my partner didnt sleep because I ate McDonald’s I’m 12 weeks pregnant and my first trimester has honestly been HELL. I can barely keep food down. The smell of most meats makes me gag and throw up. Even random things like cold air outside gets me and at the gym if someone with a strong smell is near me it can make me start gagging out of nowhere. I feel miserable all the time. Before pregnancy, I was super healthy I lost 60 pounds over the past year and my doctor said I was at a great weight for my age and height. I loved eating healthy. But now? I’m just trying to survive and find anything I can eat without throwing up. I’ve only gained about 5 pounds so far, and there are days I can barely eat at all. Yesterday I threw up eggs and sausage, tried to eat lunch and was gagging the whole time. The only thing I could actually get down later was a plain cheeseburger from McDonald’s. No fries, no soda just the burger. My fiancé saw the wrapper and told me this morning he didn’t sleep all night because he was so upset that I ate McDonald’s. He said I’m giving our baby “addictive unhealthy food” and it really bothered him. I tried to explain that I can’t eat the way I used to right now. I miss it so much. I wish I could eat all the healthy protein I used to. But right now I have like 5 “safe” foods, and one of them happens to be a plain cheeseburger. I’m also trying to get medication because the nausea is that bad. Instead of support, I feel judged and stressed. He’s literally losing sleep over me eating one of the only foods I can keep down. I don’t know what to do. I want a partner who is supportive and understanding, not someone who makes me feel guilty for just trying to eat something.

@Bennieeexyz Your dad could go for a sleep study, get a CPAP machine and the snoring would stop. Mom could sleep in her own bed. My husband and I went through this.

Y’all… I don’t even know how to say this without sounding crazy, but I’m breaking down over here 😞 I’m 20, an only child, and my mom still sleeps in my bed almost every night. For the past year I’ve been venting about it and nothing changes. We’re in a two-bedroom apartment, my dad snores like a damn chainsaw, so she “has no choice” but to crash with me. I’m a guy trying to grow up and I have zero privacy. The bathroom is literally the only place I can be alone. I get home from late classes exhausted, just wanting to chill in my own room, but she’s already tucked in by 9:30. Phone too bright? “Turn it off.” TV on? Big sigh and “We don’t live in the bed!” If I don’t follow her 7 a.m. work schedule I’m “disrespectful.” She demands stuff in MY room but never says a word to my dad. Then comes the guilt trip: “I pay the bills here,” “My back hurts,” “You don’t understand how tired I am.” I love her so much it hurts, but I feel so trapped and lonely in my own home. I’ve tried talking, boundaries, sleeping on the couch.... everything. She just gets emotional and climbs back in like it’s normal. I’m 20 and I can’t even have my own bed. I feel like I’m suffocating. I’m not trying to be ungrateful… I just want some space to breathe. Some privacy. Some peace. What do I do? I’m honestly losing it.

My boyfriend and I are planning to buy a house together after dating for 3 years. He earns significantly more than I do, so he’d be contributing about 70% of the down payment. Because of that, he wants the house to be only in his name. He says it’s just “fair” based on the numbers, but we’d both be living there, splitting bills, and building a life together. I’ve been watching a lot of relationship content about equity vs equality, and it made me realize things don’t always have to be 50/50 but this feels like I’d have no security at all. He said if we ever broke up, he’d “do the right thing,” but that doesn’t really reassure me. My friends say don’t move in unless my name is on it. His friends apparently think I’m being entitled. Now I feel stuck between trusting him and protecting myself. Is this a red flag I’m trying too hard to rationalize?

This world is really really fucked up. Treason in high office, bad actors trying to pollute and destroy the society...it’s terrible out there as need not be emphasized. You are living this every day. i have had good days here with my @1heidvandenberg. Exceptionally good days. The reason for this post is to provide a point of positivity in your life. Also for me to be able to express my feelings. Yes, i have those. Heidi is a marvel. So all you kids are fucked in the head by this current common shared reality. But even so, incredibly beautiful Heidi has agreed that she will live with me, and a mutually agreeable time, we will marry. We think we will stream it live. i know you kids think marriage is stupid on so many levels, but it is an essential component of our society. Marriage has fallen out of favor, and you guys are living the result of that, a disorderly social order. This is my way of making my body’s Life complete, and correct. This is also my way of participating in this current wave of establishing, once again, the greatest society on this planet. i think we can all thank Heidi. She’s a wonder, and mine! Your world has already started to improve.

I heard this direct from those involved. Yesterday, a gentleman arrived home from the hospital for palliative care. He was with his daughter. He was meant to be going on a night out that very evening, for his closest friend who had died accompanied by his daughter. The paramedics contacted GP… community nurses came out. They told the daughter they would make her father “comfortable”. They administered the drugs. And they left immediately. The daughter went back to her father. He was dead. She didn’t get to say goodbye and nor did he He never made that night out. How does a man go from going out that evening… to dead within moments of “comfort”? The national homicide service 🌈 Getting away with it since 1948. Guaranteed to take you to your final destination.
