A productive week in the US. It was a pleasure to spend time in Los Angeles with colleagues at the @hiltonfound, reflecting on MAG’s work and how we can build on the opportunities created by the Hilton Humanitarian Prize, for which we’re very grateful.

The conflict across the Middle East is devastating. @MAGsaveslives is calling for an immediate de-escalation of hostilities, an end to the bombing and the protection of civilians. As soon as conditions allow, we are determined to scale up our emergency response efforts.

Each visit offers a brief but important pause to test assumptions and see familiar issues differently. Encouraging, too, to see such strong appetite among students to engage with complexity and shape positive change. Thank you for the warm welcome, great to be back.
