By most accounts the production of this film was anything but smooth and Bill Murray and Richard Dreyfuss absolutely hated each other. Regardless of the chaos, a brilliant cult comedy was born. #NowWatching What About Bob? (1991)

@DarrenDebari Fun fact. I memorized the entire script and can rattle it off from any point in the movie. It’s my most useless superpower.

I also remember seeing it on HBO waaaay back in the day. Rewatched it just recently and am of the opinion that not only is it the best Star Trek film (duh!), it’s one of the finest sci-fi movies ever made. Side note: Started watching The Next Generation recently, and in one of the first season episodes whom did I spy? None other than Merritt Butrick.

Steven Spielberg explains why he didn't like 'Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom' (1984) & why he felt he was fated to make the movie: “I wasn’t happy with 'Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom' (1984) at all. It was too dark, too subterranean, & much too horrific. I thought it out-poltered 'Poltergeist' (1982). There’s not an ounce of my own personal feeling in 'Temple of Doom'. I look back and I say, ‘Well, the greatest thing that I got out of that movie was I met Kate Capshaw. We were married years later that to me was the reason I was fated to make 'Temple of Doom'.” ("Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom: An Oral History", Paul Bullock, Medium, 2017)
