@DarrylAberneth1 @tom_rakewell @JCKP1966 It wasn’t my intention to compare Trump and pope. I was responding to others who mentioned the pope. My views on the papacy are on public record. Trump’s depiction was more than “wrong”.

I’ve given Trump the benefit of the doubt on many occasions, but no longer. His attack on Iran was ill- advised. His foul-mouthed rant on Easter Sunday was inexcusable. His threat to wipe out an entire civilization was insane. And his portrayal of himself as Jesus is blasphemous.

As for his depiction it was wrong but trying to distinguish whether he or the pope is worse is pathetic

@tom_rakewell @JCKP1966 Some of the claims of the papacy are blasphemous (and I am on public record on that) but as far as I know the pope has never portrayed himself as Christ. Of course Trump is denying that that was his intention.

@TheGlensVoice Football is about opinions and I'm only giving mine. Deccy has improved us and since January got a squad that can challenge for a title. I think he needs a full season with the squad. Games against the top four are tight and we have come out the wrong side more than we would like

@7455416W @OfficialNIFL I thought the Bent one in the 83rd minute was even more a stonewall penalty. That's the problem we face. No consistency from refs. Borderline decisions seem to go against us all the time against them. There was also the Cosgrove challenge on JJ which could have been deemed a red.

Here's what Glentoran are faced with on a regular basis, more so against Larne than anyone else. Brown envelopes being threw around & no one will convince me otherwise @OfficialNIFL

@7455416W Interesting to note that we've had three red cards in four games with Larne this season. How many other reds have we had??? I can only remember JJ getting sent off against Dungannon. Sort of puts things in perspective

@DarrylAberneth1 From where I was in the stands thought it was a clear pen. Have heard ones say Mills got the ball first and the follow through brought O’Neill down but I haven’t seen any videos other than the one on the BBC highlights.

@BBCSPORTNI Ref today was a farce and awful decisions affected the outcome of the game. Let Maguire stay on the field after a clear professional foul on Jenkins but sends Jenkins off for playing the ball albeit with a high foot.
