You don’t need to suspend….you have VAR.
1 red card and it stops universally. This isn’t hard but the powers at be won’t do anything about it.

Hard to agree about anything online but I think we can come to the consensus that this type of embellishment is disgraceful. May be extreme, but if players started getting suspended for crap like this, I think it would course correct quickly 🤷🏼♂️

And you can say, yea but if we lost by one we'd be hosting San Jose, and while that's true, penalties are too unpredictable to expect that result in the moment.

This didn't play out as described, but it did in the sense that LA and Chivas did go to penalties. If the Sounders hadn't let it that late goal and Chivas had won PKs, Seattle would be traveling. Instead, Necaxa scored again and now we're hosting Los Angeles. Kind of worked out?

If Inter Miami with Messi faces off against the Seattle Sounders in Seattle, I believe the Sounders would still have a ‘home field’ environment unlike so far with many other MLS clubs
