Bubble is actually the first user to be added to the ADC system, and is the lead designer and dev of it. They created Cain to basically be to a mascot character akin to Mario, Sonic, Crash etc etc. Bubble basically checks on the Cain AI to see if its working exactly as coded. Bubble was also apparently based on Dr Braun from Fallout 3 due to the series creator being a fan of the Fallout series as well as other science fiction media such as the Matrix. The original purpose of the ADC was for human self preservation incase an extinction level event were to occur in the real world, and ADC was made as basically a backup so humanity can essentially exist forever on a grid akin to the Matrix/Tranquility Lane. Much like Braun, Bubbles initially seemed to care about other users, but due to them basically having the keys to the ADC kingdom, eventually went mad with power and essentially by proxy became the first abstract, but one who still had cognitive power due to them being given admin control. Also like Braun, Bubble took immense pleasures with seeing other users unfortunate enough to be placed into the ADC grid by inflicting immense torture disguised as "fun activities/minigames" for their own enjoyment. For reasons of possibly giving them false hope or ego and also because Bubble wants users to eventually all abstract, but not all of them at once since much like Braun "What fun is there to torture a machine?" So for that reason, Bubble only tortures a user to abstraction whenever they get "bored" of that particular user, and also when a new "cast member" is added to the ADC grid. For that reason, is why Kinger survived as long as he did because Bubble always found him amusing and possibly knew that one day Kinger would eventually break the grid... and will abstract Kinger as his "eternal reward" for winning the game for the cast.
