Ok. Vulnerable post but here we are.
I just weighed in at 141.4 lbs.
Since Sept 2024 to today, May 15, 2026, I have lost 100lbs. It hurts to say that and share but I am going to share it because I worked so damn hard every week for over a year and a half to shed this weight. It did not happen overnight.
If it wasn’t for having this incredibly challenging goal in fighting @rondarousey I most definitely wouldn’t have reached this. I was pre-diabetic, had trouble simply walking in September 2024 and have been on the path to recovery to turn myself back into an athlete since then.
It was hard, SO damn hard.. there was so much to learn, too much to unpack here, ups, downs, plateaus, things I learned late I wish I learned earlier, trial by error but I did it.
Thank you to Ronda, who waited patiently while I lost this weight and giving me something to aim for.
There is still so much I need to learn and want to do in the health space and to continue transforming my body, but for today, I thank God, my husband and my family for sticking with and encouraging me the whole way.
I pray this encourages you wherever you are in your health journey.
Believe there is hope. Never give up.
Ok.. enough emo, I’ve got a fight tomorrow. We’ve worked so hard to get here. Tune in!!

Tipping culture is undoubtedly completely out of hand.
Like a lot of 80s kids I worked numerous service jobs, none of which tipped.
Fast food? That didn't tip
Grocery store produce department? Also didn't tip.
I had the windows tinted on my truck last year and they wanted a tip.
Tipping is for low paying thankless service jobs in which the quality of service can be appreciated with a gratuity.
Who it's for:
-The person making $4/hr to wait busy tables and refill your drinks not mess up your order and wait on you hand and foot.
Who it's not for:
-The person making $18/hr to make you a burger and hand it to you across the couner.
Who it's for:
-The person who works for a haircutting salon making $12/hr who is going to put an effort in to make sure you are happy with how you look when they finish cleaning you up.
Who it's not for:
-The massage therapist or physical therapist doing the medically necessary massage treatment that was ordered by a physician.
Who it's for:
-The $20/hr furniture delivery guy destroying his body carefully delivering your new furniture without messing up any of it.
Who it's not for:
-The $17/hr kid pouring you a coffee or putting some ice cream in a cup.
The sad thing is BUSINESS OWNERS LOVE TIPPING CULTURE. Especially under the "no tax on tips" federal exemption.
They can pay their workers peanuts and lean on their clients to make up the difference.
It's gross and disgusting.
