@Darkstalker1407 I think they could’ve done a better method for the update. A blanket buff to everything’s durable dmg tells me they aren’t confident in what they’ve done. They should’ve focused the extra durable on specific bugs to make them pop and shine a bit more. Basic bugs don’t need it.

@hitman2b1 Yeah, I see what they were trying to do I think they just input the wrong numbers for it. Honestly think the spore variants should be a subfaction so they can really flesh out the spore stuff and make it more interesting.

Hi Arrowhead, -You still have at least 200+ active, replicatable bugs in the game (docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d…) -This update, you also: moved the Flame Sentry's hitbox rather than buffing the range from 20m to 34m as you said, -Gave the Lumberer the damage model of a Crisper flamethrower rather than the Cremator one (I can only think on accident), -Broke the Oxgenator armour passive in some way where it is either not buffing your speed, or buffing every other armours speed (some people are saying that it is also buffing the Spore bugs speed, but this seems to be an intended, but unconfirmed feature...reddit.com/r/Helldivers/c…) -Listed the Missile Pistol's pen as Medium in game when it is actually Anti-Tank (only the splash damage is Medium pen), -Oncce again janked the netcode again, so hosts are being giga-shafted as if there weren't enough host bugs in the game, -Created a 'new enemy variant' (from the April roadmap) which so far is comprised of a SINGLE enemy, being the Spore Burst Bile Titan, -Have buffed half of all enemy's durable damage (insane support patch for the enemy) BECAUSE mechs now have doubled HP and are more durable, while mechs still are 50% Medium and 50% light pen -Gave the Lumberer an objectively worse AT Emplacement as a weapon, -Gave the Breakthrough Exosuit a MEDIUM PEN shield, the same pen as a HANDHELD Ballistic Shield (but it's ok, Shield Devs now have AP4 shields, I don't think Super Earth can make a shield or tank with higher than medium pen armour, machined steel mucho hard to make), -Have buffed Hive Guard armour to Heavy pen, which means the chitin from a bug smaller than a person is more heavily armoured than every single area of the Bastion TANK, -Quick reminder that they also buffed Automaton tanks to make them feel more 'boss-like', meaning not even a Recoilless can now one shot them (no way Super Earth could make a tank like that), -Looked at gas builds which were already neutered, and asked yourself, "how could we make them even worse?", -Also buffed gas damage to Mechs by 50%, so now a Bile Titan can nuke mechs (post-buff, btw) because our mechs already weren't getting one shot by Bunker Cannons and Harvesters and War Striders (post-buff, btw) -Took 2 years to buff the Spear instead of breaking it every second patch (yay!), -Did an official AMA on r/HelldiversUnfiltered, where after a day of nigh a hundred questions, resulted in Pilestdt saying what amounts to, 'So some things you guys want, not high priority. Ship module upgrades, I can't say much but we're working on it. These other questions about content, bugfixing, monetisation and balancing? I'm not even going to talk about it'. A lot of these things were told to us a YEAR ago, -Released the content for the April roadmap on the last days of April so you could show that, in fact, it was actually in April, -Limit criticism on the official Discord by making the usualy 30s slowmode 3 minutes (not even going to talk about Reddit). At leas the new biome isn't as bugged and broken as Day 1 Rupture Strain, and it looks kind of cool even though there was barely anything new about it. Yay! Also customarily broke all mods, half of which made your game playable, perform better, or fun. Thankfully WuWa 3.3 is tommorow.

@Neo_Kaiser @Kakbyda1 @Tank_Stubbs @Europa_War Why does the flamer need more durability dmg? Practically everything on the bot front can reliably kill mechs and tanks before the update due to the last update buffing their durable dmg.

@Neo_Kaiser I never personally asked for a buff to the bot after the last one. If anything the bots need new sub factions not durability dmg buffs to all their units, they already shred bastion tanks and exo suits from the last durability dmg update. There’s better ways to balance the game.

@Slumdog_Milly Who said anything about nerfing the enemies? The mechs got an overall buff so they then buffed every enemies durable dmg. That tells me there was no overall balance choice it’s a “just incase” method. Actual balance would be making specific units do more that make sense.

@Darthkyle99 Because it's still an overall buff to the mechs What you do isn't nerf the enemies to compensate but instead bring the other deployables up to this level, which as with most things, just takes some *time* to test out

My point was to point out melee bots weren’t the only ones hit. Also they made the tanks weak point heavy armor pen. I read the entire patch note, I’m highlighting the bad for a reason.

None of the others are remotely related to durable damage and there's even welcome nerfs, like decreased warstrider armor and nerf to ENEMY turrets !

@DakKhuza @Fobhopper @Europa_War Ah on bug front, dragon roach, impaler, charger. Which makes sense these changes make anything able to murder hobo your mech. Which with durable dmg and acid upgrade to dragon roaches make those guys big mech shredders.

@KlaynRogue @Darthkyle99 getting people to even understand that hp durability% buffing just ends up making explosive weapons more meta is so fucking hard. The mental gymnastics needed to give hive guards heavy pen armour is literally because the devs don’t want to revert the durability% buffs to enemies

@DakKhuza @Fobhopper @Europa_War I’ve been snipped by a mad bot turret because somebody else aggroed it. There’s a lot that goes on not everyone will be pro with the bot. I will openly admit I’m not. But I’ve seen enough to know everyone has experienced crazy things depending on preference to plays style.

@Darthkyle99 @Fobhopper @Europa_War I've used mechs a lot, I've used them on the hive world, I've used them against every bug sub-faction. All on diff10, the only time I ever lose a mech is when I get out to do an objective and the bugs attack the empty mech. Idk in what other situation you lose a mech

@Helldiver65 Because the weapon changes don’t change what other enemies do to your vehicle. And they talk directly about the good changes in stream and top of patch notes. Also did you miss the heavy devastator shield change? I’m hiliting what people are ignoring and what AH refuses to say.

@DakKhuza @Fobhopper @Europa_War Sadly no two peoples D10 is the same, I’ve had some where barely any enemies show up and some where it’s non stop enemies. Also depends on if you fight the bug sub factions more or less.

@Fobhopper @Europa_War @Darthkyle99 Genuinely how are you losing mechs on diff10 bugs, are you just walking them into bug breaches? Also the lumberer (and flame sentry) are bugged such that their flamethrower doesn't work on enemies at close range, how no one noticed this before the patch went live is beyond me

@KlaynRogue Yeah, super credits should be rewarded for MO wins. Doesn’t have to be a lot but something would be nice. Hell they could add in a tier system for how good we won the MO blew it out of the water and completed it early? Bonus super credits. Barely beat it little to none.

@Darthkyle99 If theres too many people online its actually better to spam diff 1-2 missions. Because you get a fixed liberation bonus after you finish a operation, but the liberation you get from missions scales negatively with players on the same planet. So its like 0+1 = 1 for a Diff 1 op

@KlaynRogue At least you can grind for the warbonds. I honestly think they should with how long it’s been make steeled veterans warbond free like the deployed one with the caveat being they fully complete the first warbond.
