@idonotexistelol I think they added more markers and hints and stuff due to journalist feedback because there is no way I'm playing the same game they were complaining about.

I am absolutely not seeing the "game doesn't hold your hand at all" aspect in crimson desert. There's literally markers for every quest I've done so far. This is not a bad thing but good lord these journalists are even stupider than we thought. It semi- hand holds

@NextGenNero The game is niche. Most people would be bored to death of it. That's why it has low numbers. Doesn't matter how good a game is if it doesn't have mass market appeal it isn't going to pull massive numbers.

Maybe my love for this game is blinding my judgement but… is it just me or are these numbers on the low side ? This is legit one of the best games created this generation and maybe ever.. meanwhile a A.I boring slop fest of a game easily hits 100k +

@p0nyphobic Artists who post amazing art generally get treated like royalty. Spend some time in the trenches and you will see the community is fairly standard. There's a schism in the community that runs roughly, but not exactly, along political lines, unfortunately.

@kiwitalkz Someone pointed out it’s the same thing with Starfield. Launch version on Xbox costed more money than the PS5 version will, when PS5 has all this new content and systems overhaul. You’re so right about gamers being punished for buying day 1. I hate this trend.

I don’t get these devs, at demo events the feedback was largely that the control scheme was archaic and unintuitive and they ignored the feedback and doubled down and now they are fixing it. Why not just fix it then and save yourself all of this trouble lol Increasingly I dont buy games Day 1 unless I plan to review it with game devs as part of my sub series as it’s not worth it a lot of the time. It’s like you are punished for buying games Day 1 as you pay more and get a lesser experience than someone buying it a year later

@kiwitalkz I'm fine with the controls, I just want character movement to not feel like moving through mud all the time. Make movement snappier and more responsive and precise. Lords of the Fallen did a great job improving that aspect post launch. This game needs that too.
