The backlash was never going to do anything, it was already too far along for Sony to pivot and it would cost hundreds of millions of dollars at this point to switch back. The fact of the matter is game development is becoming unsustainable for both Sony and Microsoft they are stuck in an arms race at the detriment of these companies. They should've adhered to Nintendo's model to remain sustainable but they didn't and are in too deep to even try, so now they are doing whatever they feel they have to do to remain profitable next gen.

A new report claims PlayStation could be using social media bots to defend its decision to stop making physical game discs.
According to Moore’s Law Is Dead, AI was used to analyze accounts posting in support of PlayStation’s digital-only future.
The report says many of those accounts looked suspicious, with recent creation dates, AI-generated profile pictures, and very similar posting patterns.

The fact that the protagonist of the story is a 50-year-old groomer in the body of a teenager certainly isn't a positive for me, but there's another, simpler reason I cannot recommend that you waste your time on Mushoku Tensei: it's just poorly written.

As a christian and a bisexual I see people complain about both. Chris Pratt gets attacked for trying to be open about his religion and gay people get accused of being woke even if they are super chill about it. But English was making a spectacle about it. Did people hyper focus on her speeches for click bait… yes but that’s besides the point.
Honestly I think she a really good VA and her politics isn’t as obnoxious as Erika Ishi. It’s sucks she left the project regardless.

It doesn’t make sense to leave the project if it was because of a hard break up. VA’s recording lines together almost never happens.
Assuming it was the break it’s possible she now hates this other VA so much that she no longer wanted to be apart of the game. Like she kissed her on camera at the game awards just 7 months ago.

Marketing yourself on being gay that hard when you’re talented enough not to do that… yeah that was beneath her and a turn off. Marlon Brando and Ian McKellen never had to do that. Neither did David Bowie or Elton John.

Microsoft’s upcoming Halo: Campaign Evolved is facing backlash after early copies revealed that the physical edition cannot be played straight from the disc.
According to images shared from an early PS5 Collector’s Edition copy, players must first:
>Download a mandatory update.
>Sign in with a Microsoft account before they can access the campaign.
This means the game isn’t fully playable offline out of the box, despite being sold on a physical disc.

What I don’t understand is at what point did Christoph Nolan lose his touch. Dude is master cinematographer. Like the casting sucks that’s been established but the script must also be boring.
When I did the Odyessy in school we saw Oddesy struggle past Gods and monsters just to see his wife again. Literally a story about defiance and perseverance. To make such a story boring… like how could Nolan screw up this badly.
