what i've always loved most about jorge's art is how intricate and organic it feels, it always made me stop and stare and think about the thought process behind choosing every shape and detail.

You don’t understand, I grew up fully aware of the fact that I was autistic and I never really felt like I fit in. So in a way I felt seen like I never had before. You had my trust, you had the trust of other Mexican animators and you decided to break it.

Another reason it’s so disappointing for me to find out that Jorge Guitierrez is embracing AI is the fact that he’s Autistic.
There aren’t a lot of autistic animators out there and finding out that he was autistic too years ago made me think, “Maybe u can do this too!”

‘El Tigre’ creator Jorge R. Gutierrez says he has been in active discussions with Paramount on a revival of the series. He also revealed he wants to include ‘Invader Zim’ and ‘My Life as a Teenage Robot’ in the project, saying he already has the blessing of both creators.

Jorge R. Gutierrez has been animating since the early 2000s with one of the most stunning, unique styles out there. The Book of Life took him 14 years.
How does someone like that support AI? He above all should know the most beautiful art is human-made.
