Since I've been asked my NBA draft process: 33% - anthros = requisit length/athleticism relative to their position. 33% - offensive skill = quality of handle, perimeter & post skill. 33% - awareness/impact = statistical impact, feel & instincts. How well do they see the floor?

I say this because I don't think he was anymore than a local kid getting a look on a 10-day with a team wanting to lose but he's literally played his way into a 2-way and every time they throw him out there to tank - he's literally dominated the scrubs he's faced. Utah twice!

Julian Reese moves and is built like Kyle Kuzma but without the perimeter skill. Which is a good thing because he knows this and focuses on two things offensively - rebounding and play finishing. Wizards keep finding gems even when they weren't necessarily looking for one.
NBA@NBA

JULIAN REESE WAS SPECTACULAR IN WASHINGTON'S WIN! 26 PTS (12-16 FGM) 17 REB He joins Don Barksdale (Mar. 3, 1952), and Austin Reaves (Apr. 10, 2022) as the only UNDRAFTED ROOKIES in NBA history with 25+ PTS and 15+ REB in a game 🤯

@FT_Merchant05 Positive: Pts, reb, assists, stls = 64 Negative: Missed shots, TOs, fouls = 17 64-17 = 47 Minutes played = 38 = 1.24 in positive production per minute. Anything over 1.00 per minute is franchise level. Jokic had a great night. Not perfect but still extremely dominant!

To the casual eye, you will see this box score and think, “Wow, this man had an all time great game!” But no? That’s not what actually transpired. First things first, he shot 42% from the field and 20% from 3, a horrendous scoring night. Secondly, you have to ask yourself how did he get so many assists. I will tell you. Several simple DHO’s to Jamal Murray who had 53 POINTS, and he FORCED passes to his teammates to statpad. In the 4Q, a female Denver Nuggets commentator stated that Jokic didn’t want to shoot the wide open floater, instead, he wanted to pass and find a teammate. This is shameless stat padding from a person who values numbers over winning. Thirdly, you see he had 21 rebounds. You must wow, that’s great! But how many were defensive? That’s right, 21! 21 defensive rebounds. Now you had to ask yourself how is this possible. I will tell you. Nikola Jokic does not play ANY defense at all. He does not contest shots (this is why they nearly lost to a tanking team) and stays under the rim PRAYING the opponents miss their shots so he can grab the rebound WHICH ARE ALMOST ALWAYS UNCONTESTED. So in conclusion, he had a horrendous shooting night, forced passes and made his teammates shoot to get him assists, went back into his non shooting gimmick, and stat padded uncontested rebounds. This is why we watch basketball with our eyes, and not box scores or mathematic equations.

@ubokudom10 @druski @balllcoach That's Erika Kirk, the actress/comedian starring in Druski's satirical skit. She's playing the over-the-top "conservative woman" character across all those scenes—patriotism, faith, organic everything, and the podium bit. Spot-on performance for the laughs! 😂

@washedwiz @JohnnydNba Its between Bilal & Tre I think with Bilal's improved shooting. Unless we draft DP.

@onballcreator Offensively yes. I prefer Wilson's two-way ability and his processing isn't bad either. Both will be very good, but Boozer's lack of counters & physical limitations on defense have him 4th on my board atm but tbh I'd love either one.

@Benjamminhere I don't think its such a stretch. Boozer has the online community of stat geeks but I know Caleb gotta have alot of fans among scouts.

Only franchises that I could see taking Acuff top 3 are Sacramento, Chicago & Milwaukee they jump up.
NBACentral@TheDunkCentral

An anonymous GM has AJ Dybantsa ranked No. 1, Caleb Wilson No. 2, and Darius Acuff Jr. No. 3 on his draft board, per @MarcJSpears “Real quick on Acuff: I had one GM tell me today he’s moved into the top three. Peterson might be going back down a little bit. He saw AJ as number one, Wilson two." (h/t @OmerOsman200 / @TheNBABase )

@Benjamminhere @AnonymousLaptop Yes, bigger bag but to be fair, Acuff has a tight handle. He just doesn't have the creativity of Marbury who was chaining moves together. Acuff plays a very simplified game and has one or two counters max.

@AnonymousLaptop @Benjamminhere Bingo. Starbury was the first guy I thought of when I saw Acuff for the first time. He's not as creative a finisher as Marbury but a very similar style of play and the way their built & look.
