I went to a Chinese restaurant in Guinea, as a Nigerian, I could speak French but we all still have to use google translation because all the staffs there don’t speak French, just Chinese.
Moral Lesson: they knew it’d be difficult but they still took the risk of opening a restaurant in a French country as a Chinese native.

Life itself already comes with a dose of luck—none of us chose where to be born, who raised us, or the opportunities we first encountered. Some people start ten steps ahead, others begin with nothing but grit. That alone shows that life isn’t a level playing field.
But here’s where it gets real: luck might open the door, but it won’t keep you in the room. What you do with the chances you get—whether small or big—matters just as much, if not more. Two people can be handed the same opportunity, and one changes their life with it while the other lets it slip.
So yes, life is luck on its own. But survival, growth, and success? That’s where effort, consistency, and mindset step in. Luck may write the introduction of your story, but you’re still responsible for the chapters that follow.

This woman on TikTok said: Y’all my kids’ father cheated on me with my best friend, fell in love with her, and actually left me for her. Fast forward to now, they got into it and she ended up calling the police on him, which led to him getting arrested. He called me crying, apologizing, and I could hear the hurt in his voice. He needed $1,000 to bond out and didn’t have it, and the same best friend he chose over me wasn’t willing to help him.
