This is the guy who’s gonna kill you through every OOB he can find in the game. The video going viral will only make him want to make more content like it and then you’ll have thousands of players doing the same thing. Don’t punish this type of behavior and you make it ok for everyone to do it. Fine if it’s in Halo or COD, but not in an extraction shooter.

The fact that he found this is super cool. You gotta commend the guy for even being able to because you sure as hell know we weren’t gonna. I also don’t mind the clip for awareness but I do think SPAMMING exploits in multiplayer games to KILL is corny. Remember BF6 rooftop rats?

@GernaderJake It’s random depending on who’s queued up and what they’re bringing at that time. I’ve had 3-4 total teams on cryo and I swear 2 at times where we kill one team and our 3 recons can’t find a third team lol. Love it that way honestly. 3 feels perfect

I don’t think Bungie meant for less teams to be spawning in on all the maps. But as someone who LOVES PvP, I still have to say, this game feels WAY better with less teams. More time for PvE, less third parties, more welcoming for newer players. Keep it like this.

@Luca6e If you pop smoke and go into the room, the bots will aggro on players trying to sneak kill you. Basically security guards while you loot

@vesseloftauceti Melee Katana that causes increased heat buildup from swinging it. Can 2 shot purple shields but you move slower, overheat in 4 swings, and it takes up 8 slots or 1 weapon slot

New Game Mode - UESC Lock Up Runners are Locked down at a POI from UESC forces. Waves of UESC enemies. Every 10th wave spawns a Warden with a key. 50 waves total, 5 wardens w/ 5 keys total. Each key accesses a key room with increasingly better loot. PvP is from Rooks randomly spawning in (5-9 Rooks total). Gear can still be lost. Key room loot is limited to gold implants, cores, and weapon mods (Very rarely will players get gold salvage). Alternate the sponsored kit playlist with this and see how the community likes it.

@DatGuySolid @Tahnit lol yeah man when three people are able to still run 27 grenades and throw them, no cooldown, no windup, no animation outside of the toss, no "amount you can bring in" nerf fixes this. Again- you're fucking stupid and the blue check proves it lol

@SunnySizedUp @Tahnit Grenade spam is rarely an issue unless the enemy team is stacked with 20x each and you backed yourself into a corner. The whole blue check mark thing is dumb since you support the App just by using it lol

This is wild. Am I the only one who had NO idea death boxes make a sound if the teammates are still up? But no sound if the squad is wiped? Crazy. Did anyone else know this? Marathon is crazy, wonder what other little mechanics there are.

@Akileese @Tahnit @MarathonDevTeam Then people will complain they get overheated after doing 1 movement and throwing a grenade. Half the grenades is a huge fix

@Tahnit @MarathonDevTeam It also just means you now get less ROI for a team engagement because they'll be stacking the same amount of grenades with less available bag space lol. I think long term it helps next season though. I still think adding a heat escalator for throws is the fix.

@Tahnit @MarathonDevTeam A little less? It’s half the amount lol. Only time I had issues with grenade spam is when it’s literally 20x from all 3 players. This fixes that issue

@MarathonDevTeam Stack size isn't going to solve the grenade spam issue. Its the fact that you can lob them over and over and over. Changing the stack size to 1 just means you have a little less grenades that you can spam.

@therealrthorat @DarkIxion Ok keep backing away and let them use all their bubbles and nades. Most teams spamming grenades and bubbles usually suck at actually fighting, hence why they bring20 grenades. Back off and shoot them or wait for the bubbles to end. Not hard

I love Marathon. I haven’t played it much recently, I probably won’t until the reset. If i’m being honest, the main reason I stopped playing if you ignore all of the amazing games that have released recently, I just really can’t stand the way the sandbox is at the moment. I have less than no interest in spending hours of my time grinding for gear just to fight a team that are peaking in and out of a bubble shield throwing grenades at me, somehow we’ve taken one of the most mechanically satisfying shooters we’ve had in a while and degraded it with a meta that doesn’t even involve shooting, it’s demoralising to lose like that. Theres too many good games out/coming out to deal with that. Hopefully next season there’s a ton of new content and the Meta involves actually having to aim your gun, that would be nice 😭 really setting the bar high there, I know #Marathon
