I like the direction Microsoft has decided finally to go, but I don't think there's a good understanding that things aren't slow just because the hardware is slow. They need to bring in their "ffmpeg" people and do some serious revamps.

I have to be honest, this doesn’t bring confidence to Windows users that your solution to making key Windows interactions faster by pre-boosting the CPU clock on key interactions the user expects to be snappy. Can we fix the code for fucks sake? God damn MSFT what is going on?

Finally figured out the issue. When I return after a long period, the "turn off the display" setting apparently creates a conflict. Was finally able to recreate the issue predictably. Going to toggle "Turn off the display" setting so it does not turn off monitors.

Reimaged Win 11 yesterday. Updated to latest April patches. I have about 3 apps installed at the moment. Went to lunch, came back and my Datagrip (which is literally up on my screen) does not show in the taskbar. If PowerBI had a linux app, I'd swap my work machine just like home

Have 8 apps open on my primary monitor, about 5 open on my secondary. Go to lunch, come back, unlock machine and Windows taskbar is only showing 2 apps on each screen. Alt+tab through everything to get them to show back up in the taskbar. Dumb.
