@sierramicmic Yup! For the most part, you can move back and forth between code and UI to build DataFire actions. We're always looking for ways to push more functionality into the UI though, thanks for the tip!

@sierramicmic That said, we could also add a new UI treatment to help with this type of flow if there's enough demand for it.

@sierramicmic We already do! With DataFire, you can always drop into the JavaScript to add If/else statements, for loops, or whatever else. Because we allow access to the entire NodeJS ecosystem, our functionality will always be a superset of Zapier's.

@DataFire_io Also - I just made changes to an Action. Saved it and deployed. The Logs demonstrate my new code was run but when I go back, my Action doesn't have the changes so you just deleted my changes?

@DataFire_io I am getting "Unexpected token H in JSON at position 0" on actions/triggers that were working earlier. I had this a few days ago too - is there a bug?

@Mr___Boy We prevent tasks from running on dev deployments so that they don't step on the toes of production deployments

@DataFire_io what is the point of a Dev deployment? As far as I can tell, it never runs and always says "waiting for logs...". How am I supposed to use this to test my changes if Tasks never get run?

@Mr___Boy Hi John - dev deployments allow you to manually run your actions, so you can make sure they do the right thing before sending them off to production, where they'll run on a schedule
