Been there (my photo from inside where Hezbollah drilled into solid rock). Hezbollah built hundreds of these tunnels and bunkers along the border under the watch of over 10,000 UN forces supposedly there to prevent it. They filled their tunnels with weapons and rockets. Some meant to conduct an October 7th style attack much larger than what Hamas executed. @KatiePavlich

Because this is what they’ve built: sophisticated tunnels - with lighting, comms, and rail transport - drilled through solid rock as deep as 20 stories below the surface. This tunnel near Shtula under the Israel-Lebanon border (aka right under the UN’s nose) was discovered and sealed by the IDF during Operation Northern Shield.

@SpencerBrown how in the world did they excavate all the rock and dirt OUT of the tunnel with no one noticing? Had to have been 100's of truckloads of dirt exiting, not to mention incoming pipe and rail? How does a major construction project go unnoticed?

if these babies were Jewish it'd be on a 24 hour cycle. broadcasters would be screaming "holocaust" from the rooftops. their parents and grandparents, uncles and aunts and neighbors would be interviewed. we'd know about every soccer game, dance class, and school play they ever participated in. politicians would be enacting new laws, sending billions more to Israel. and so on. western media is beneath contempt because we don't hear a peep about these young lives, just like we didn't hear a peep about the tens of thousands of Palestinians in Gaza.

@Siavashgg @owenjonesjourno Ah, the “chicken hawk” argument. Multiple friends got combat experience including special forces in Aghan. Also friends doing disaster relief in Ukraine. I’m aware of the (actual and potential) human cost of this conflict. It’s substantial.
