@Misery_hates_co I never reported it. I should have double-checked on it, but it was cooking for a loooong time. I'm glad it finally came out, even if it's just a two-week event. There are still two other game modes that may be released at some point. I'm glad they are improving the game.

I loved Diablo 3 seasons because the progress I earned during each season was applied as experience to my eternal characters' paragon progression afterward.
Please let's avoid wasting any of the progress and time we put into the game. @PezRadar @RodFergusson #DiabloIV #Diablo4
English

@WolfangPK @Diablo I agree. And if you look around, the wishlist of features and quality of life fixes that players want to be introduced along with seasons is long.
English

@donilander Sent you a DM so I won't forget. It may take a while for me to get to it since I am currently away from my desk, but I'll look into it as soon as I can.
English

@DataMineARPG @Sarkiology @PezRadar @RodFergusson Sort of. In one of dev talks beginning of 2023, they stated they were leaning towards d2 and even contemplating runewords in the future
English

@Sarkiology @PezRadar @RodFergusson I am excited to see what they came up with. They once stated this:
Aug 18, 2022 — Diablo IV's seasons are modeled after seasons in Diablo III.

English

@DataMineARPG @PezRadar @RodFergusson Let’s not destroy this game by turning it into d3. Let the devs cook.
English

@ShaydeHS @Dat_Buterbean @PezRadar @RodFergusson That's understandable. Everyone has their own preferences and playstyles when it comes to gaming. In my case, I never touched a "temporary" seasonal character after completing the season. To me, one free hero slot served as way to create and delete new heroes for each season.
English

@DataMineARPG @Dat_Buterbean @PezRadar @RodFergusson so your non seasonal char gets stronger so they can… beat gr150 like 3 seconds faster? idk when i first came back to d3 and played seasons i thought i would use the seasons to strengthen my “main” non-seasonal but then completely lost all interest in them.
English

@Dat_Buterbean @PezRadar @RodFergusson After completing all the seasonal challenges and claiming exclusive gear, I continued playing in the non-seasonal mode. I never solely focused on the seasonal mode until its end. My non-seasonal character was too much fun to ignore and I got a little XP boost after the season.
English

@DataMineARPG @PezRadar @RodFergusson Did you actually play on the non seasonal ladder? I know I didn’t, so it really didn’t matter much to me. I’ll be happy once all renown is transferred to season, or new fun ways are added to get renown.
English

@ExcellentGuy_ @PezRadar @RodFergusson We don't know yet, but completing Seasonal challenges in Diablo 3 seasons allowed players to unlock new stash tabs beyond those you could unlock with gold. And those would then also be available for non-seasonal characters after the season.
English

@DataMineARPG @PezRadar @RodFergusson So are new stash spaces unlocked in the eternal realm when the seasonal characters are moved there? Just trying to understand how the shared stash would work when there’s only 4 slots in the eternal realm?
English

@ExcellentGuy_ @PezRadar @RodFergusson Any items, Gold, Paragon experience, Achievements, newly unlocked Stash space, and Obols equivalent Blood Shards earned on Seasonal characters would transfer over to the non-Seasonal heroes. Paragon XP was account-wide.
English

@DataMineARPG @PezRadar @RodFergusson How did the shared stash & gold work in the external realm after seasonal characters went there?
English

@IzanagiGon @TheAftermathTV I am not sure which creator mentioned it, it was a rather large one, but he was right with his point.
Ladders will be a thing, that's right, but they are for the 0.1% and will arrive as late as Season 3, if I am not mistaken.
English

@IzanagiGon @TheAftermathTV And that's precisely the problem I see. Now you've discovered it for yourself ;)
There won't be anything left to do, or grind, except the battle pass for cosmetics.
English

@IzanagiGon @TheAftermathTV That's a fair statement, and as we just learned from official sources, the best and ultra rare unique items drop exclusively from enemies level 85+

Riot Adam Jackson@AZJackson85
Hello! I wanted to clear up some details on the rarest Unique items in Diablo 4. 1. They can drop from level 85+ enemies 2. You get them anywhere you can get a regular Unique, and they always drop at 820 ipower 3. We currently have 6 of them in the game 4. They're realllly rare!
English

@TheAftermathTV I would like to remind you that Diablo III was also an ARPG. And honestly, you could grind Diablo III harder than Diablo IV.
English

@DataMineARPG exactly my point
the tweet and the reply is ironic
anyway
point is... this is an ARPG game man
i mean why buy the game if you are not comfortable with this genre
ARPG is all about GRINDING man
unless of course the reason why you are playing is because of FOMO
English

@IzanagiGon @TheAftermathTV In Diablo IV, Paragon points are still earned through experience, renown grind, and a few Altars of Lilith once. If you have already created all classes in the Eternal realm, seasonal characters won't reward your time spent in seasons as much as in D3 as it currently stands.
English

@SonOfTristram @PezRadar @RodFergusson Loot carrying over is the absolute minimum, I would say. However, wasn't it also stated that newly added gear would simultaneously launch in both the Eternal and Seasonal modes? If that is confirmed, then you wouldn't need to play the season specifically for loot.
English

@DataMineARPG @PezRadar @RodFergusson All your loot carries over to the eternal realm afterwards so nothing is really wasted.
English

@CbabZDK @PezRadar @RodFergusson I wasn't asking for more Paragon. I simply stated that I loved D3 seasons because the XP earned by seasonal characters was applied to the non-seasonal characters afterward.
