Here’s the thing
Most people on social media will tell you this isn’t happening and AI isn’t that good
It is happening. It is that good.
Vivo@vivoplt
Software engineers are probably the happiest people on Earth right now. They pay $100/month for Claude Code to do the work. Their company pays them $10,000/month for the outcome. $9,900 profit for sipping coffee and talking to AI. And the funniest part? Almost no developer with a full-time job will publicly admit this. What a time to be alive.

This is a friendly reminder that if you built something like a webapp at some point in your career, and you deployed it somewhere, and its running right now...
It's a good time to ask Claude Code to perform a security audit including npm yarn/audit, cargo deny, credential leaks (gitleaks), and against any CVEs.

@Data_Knox LOL! I’m looking for a reason to add that sweet framework laptop.

This is important Networking and Systems Twitter What laptops are you using??

@Data_Knox On my corporate issued Thinkpad: Windows 11. I actually like using Windows at work. I never have any issues with it.
On my personal Thinkpad: I am running FreeBSD 15 with pkgbase.
I also have an M2 MacBook Pro.

@ForrestPKnight The headlines are littered with “Megacorp X sheds 10%+ of their workforce citing pivots to AI.” Hell, Coinbase cited even their non-technical teams are shipping production code

With all due respect, I don’t think it is interesting.
If it were a top SWE at a company that doesn’t have anything to do with AI… now that would be interesting. But an indie hacker using AI to exclusively write their code is completely expected.
I really, really want folks to identify the difference between how indie hackers use AI and how big corps outside of AI use AI - complete opposite ends of the spectrum.

About to rewrite Postgres in Rust.
Prepare yourselves for worlds best database.
Jarred Sumner@jarredsumner
Bun in Rust is better than the original, and it’s going to keep getting better. We fixed a lot of bugs inherited from the original. We’re fuzzing a lot more.

@BenjDicken Subscribed. Literally everything is better in Rust.

@craigzLiszt You have to be because 90% of the people you encounter are rooting against you
