As an artist whose reach is now 10x higher in the new algorithm, I want to share my experience and what I did to achieve this. Please keep in mind that this is my subjective experience and what works for me may not work for you, but I see a lot of artists are struggling so I want to help in any way I can! This may not be 100% accurate as I am still figuring out the new algorithm too, so I will update if I have any new findings. My findings: 1. Consistency is important - Figure out the best time to post your art based on where your followers are from, and what time they’ll most likely be online. Only post your art at that time, it creates consistency and the new algorithm really likes consistency. For me, I only post my art at 11pm GMT+8. - Keep your posts to your own art and art-related topics. If you mostly post art, the algorithm will see you as an art account and will not push your non-art related posts as much. This may hurt your reach as the non-art related posts may have lower engagement, signalling to the algorithm that your account is not worth pushing. - Try to make 2-3 art posts a week. Wips are good for this if you can’t make finished art. (continued below)
