Come out today to Widener Law Commonwealth’s main parking lot to grab your lunch between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm at the Potato Coop food truck. They will be donating a portion of their sales to Sarah’s Astonishing Advocate Campaign.

The 2026 Astonishing Advocate Campaign begins TOMORROW with a kickoff party hosted by the Young Lawyers Section from 5-7 pm at Levin Hoover Family Law Firm. This family-friendly and free event will introduce you to the 2026 Astonishing Advocates.

The CLE Abroad travelers spent the morning at the Peace Palace Library and the afternoon at the International Criminal Court. They also visited the National Monument Oranjehote.

DCBA’s CLE Abroad travelers spent the morning at Keukenhof, a botanical garden with 7 million flower bulbs. The group was incredibly impressed by the fields of tulips, while not the national flower are very synonymous with the Netherlands.

The CLE Abroad group took a walking tour of historic and political landmarks in the center city of The Hague. The travelers then visited the Mauritshuis Museum this morning, taking in works such as Girl with a Pearl Earring.

DCBA kicked off the CLE Abroad in the Netherlands with a great group of travelers. The group gathered in the afternoon at their hotel and then visited the Peace Palace, which houses the International Court of Justice of the United Nations.

Registration is open for Session 1 of the Etiquette Series for law students and young lawyers. Join DCBA mentors for a Zoom session on May 19th at noon.

Join DCBA on April 29th at noon for the annual Law Day Membership Luncheon Meeting and CLE. The 1 credit CLE will feature the Hon. David L. Ashworth (Ret.) presenting on Innovative Programs in Support of the Rule of Law & the American Dream.

The YL Section will host a happy hour for the membership at DCBA this evening from 5-7 pm. Come out and enjoy a beverage or two with fellow members after work! YL Section members will receive a free drink ticket. Cash bar for others.

Wednesday, April 8th is the last day to register for the April 15th Member Benefit CLE Sessions. Six sessions are offered covering a variety of topics. Compliance sessions are FREE for DCBA full members whose 2026 dues are paid.
