Defending the amount of ads during #Wrestlemania by comparing it to the amount of ads during the Super Bowl lacks so much historical context, and emotional intelligence.

I was at WrestleMania live and had a great time watching the show. Then I check Twitter and see people timing matches and breaking down “in-ring minutes” like it’s a lab experiment. Meanwhile, the Super Bowl only has about 11 to 18 minutes of actual gameplay in a 3+ hour broadcast (that’s a true stat BTW, look it up), and you don’t see diehard NFL fans obsessing over that. The way some wrestling fans consume the product is insane.

For me as a casual now, #Wrestlemania was only as good as being a second screen while I was doing some other stuff also. The main event did feel like a main event though, which is good
