I joined local residents and campaigners at the @AntiRacismDay counter demonstration in East Leeds yesterday to say no to the far right, no to racism and no to the scapegoating of migrants and minorities. The far right are mobilising across the country. They provide no solutions to the problems faced by the working class majority - on the NHS and other public services, on housing, living standards or anything else. The scapegoating from the far right is morally wrong and what’s more, lets the super rich and powerful off the hook. We need to build a mass movement of the working majority in all its diversity against the agenda of the far right and for the shared goal of a better society. No to racism. No to the scapegoating of migrants and minorities. Yes to a movement for the 99%.
